Hello all! My name is Lina El-Saieh Lee, known as LinaTheJesusWitch on TikTok and other corners of the internet. I am a witch who works with Jesus (some may call me a Christian witch or Christopagan), the host of The Jesus Witch Podcast, a homeschool mom to three and a professional tarot reader, astrologer and spellcrafter.

I have always had a special connection to Jesus and God and His true, loving nature. I was raised Roman Catholic by parents who believed in God's love and never pushed the idea of hell onto me. When asked in CCD how I thought God listened to our prayers, I distinctly remember answering "with love". However, although I loved Jesus and God, I had many issues with the Church and many questions about the belief system. Instead of answering my questions, my Catholic Church viewed me as sinful and asked me not to return to CCD. I still felt the hunger for Christ and a church community, so I turned to evangelicalism instead. A group of my friends from school were members of The International Church of Christ and after becoming a teen mom, I needed church again so I decided to try the ICOC.

I view my time in the ICOC as a dark night of the soul moment; I felt so close to Christ through prayer, reading the Bible and talking about His Word, but I the same time, I knew there was something inherently wrong with the way we were worshiping. Every single Bible verse was used as a weapon against Believers, it was used as a way to keep chains on and have every single member behave and believe the same way under the guise of  "being an ambassador for Christ". Long story short, after finding out I was pregnant with my second baby I knew I couldn't stay in this environment that used Jesus as a weapon any longer.

Before joining the ICOC, I dabbled a bit in witchcraft; I did simple spells, had tarot cards that I burned when I became a baptized member of the ICOC to declare my love to Christ (lol) and I practiced astrology. Astrology was the only witchy thing I didn't let go of when I joined the ICOC, I checked my transits in secret, picked my baptism date based on the Moon and when I left the church Astrology  and the baby I was pregnant with lead me back to witchcraft. Today my witchcraft practice is very self care centered, learning how to embrace all seasons of life for the lessons they have to offer and teaching others to do the same. I still work with Jesus and God, but most of my practice is Divine Feminine focused; Asherah, Mother Mary, Venus and Lilith are the Goddess who help me most in this journey. Some of my personal passions include hiking and being outdoors, stargazing and mapping out the constellations at night, reading an insane number of fiction books, going to concerts, practicing glamour magick and dressing like a fairy, community building and most of all being my authentic magickal self.
